Christmas Handbells
We are busy rehearsing for our Christmas events. We will be ringing some old favourites as well as some new pieces. Over the last couple of years we have been changing from ringing from our numerical notation to ringing from conventional stave music. This has been a challenge for some of us but the team has readily embraced it and it now gives us easier access to new music.
We have three full team events this season and several small group performances at care homes and day centres.
Our concert in Alton this year is part of the Alton Advent Extravaganza. Come along and join us for an evening concert of popular and festive music. Bring your own drinks and snacks; tea, coffee and mince pies will be served in the interval.
